The weather in this Country is so changeable making it difficult to know what to dress a baby in…. snow suit, coat, fleece? Are they too hot, too cold? Will they need a hat? Then when they are finally dressed, can you actually manage to strap them in their car seat properly and safely?
Well I’ve found something that can help with this and keep your baby just right when out and about. Back when I was pregnant, I was kindly asked to trial and review the cosy car seat cover from Ruby and Ginger. We have been using it for the past 12 weeks now so wanted to tell you all about it.
This is available for £25.00, comes in three fabulous colour ways and even has its own storage bag.
We love both the design and the print. With a tog rating of 3+ I know Daisy is snug and comfortable, even on the coldest of days. No need for bulky clothes or blankets, we just slip it over the car seat and off we go. It has an elasticated cover so will stretch to fit over all baby car seats (grade 0).
Everywhere we go we receive comments about how cute and cosy she looks. One lady even stopped to tell me she had spotted them on-line but was glad she had seen me as she thought they were even nicer in the “flesh”. She had to show her Husband too.
Daisy must like it, she always falls asleep when we are out and about:
We love the “v” shaped flap at the front. It means you and your baby can see each other but if you want to, you can close it whilst your little one is sleeping. I must admit Husband thought at first it was too open and that she would get cold but she doesn’t at all. As you can see here she is happy enough.
We are thrilled with our cosy car seat cover and would definitely recommend to others. Not alone with this opinion, among others it has featured on Dragons Den, in Dani Minogue’s My Style, Tess Daly’s column in the Mirror and Vogue too, I would say this product is a great buy for all Yummy Mummy’s and their little ones.
