You might be wondering what Trolls, Vosene Kids shampoo and trauma all have in common but this has been a strange week in this house.

It’s been completely traumatic after Poppy had an accident last week. An accident on the monkey bars at school resulted in a horrendous injury to her face. She had bitten through under her bottom lip and was in a terrible state. I almost fainted myself when I went to collect her from school and spotted her blood stained face and top!

Because of where it was she was referred to the plastics team, temporarily patched up and given an appointment to return the following day to be stitched up. She needed to go in to hospital to have stitches inside and outside her mouth under general anaesthetic but twice it was cancelled. Finally third time lucky( if you call it that) she went in to have it done.

It has been a horrendous week for the whole family but my big girl has been incredibly brave. I am so proud of her.  Following her admission to hospital on Friday morning we spent the whole  weekend at home on the sofa  just recovering, watching movies and cuddling. The best cure!

The girls do love their films and we take them regularly to the cinema. One of their favourite films at the moment is Trolls. Well who can resist those cute little characters especially when the main one is called Princess Poppy! If you haven’t seen it yet its pretty cute and the children love it.

When I was asked if I wanted to review some Troll branded hair products I must admit I couldn’t resist. Well with three little girls we go through a lot of shampoo and conditioner and Trolls…. well they just make them smile and we definitely needed smiles this week!

When I feel poorly a bath and hair wash always makes me feel a little better and I must admit this week it worked a little with Poppy too.

We love Vosene Kids shampoo and have often used the lice repellant varieties. The spray smells a bit strong but touch wood we haven’t had any headlice in this house for  along time. Not since this episode anyway.

In this lovely package we also received some gorgeous fruity ones which admittedly the girls preferred. However, with deciduous scents of  strawberry, melon and pink pomelo (a bit like a pink grapefruit) you can’t blame them. The girls favourite so far  is the strawberry 2-in-1 shampoo. It smells gorgeous and leaves their hair clean and knot free. As you would expect it is also tear-free, dermatologically tested as well as MIT and Paragon free too.

If you want to get your hands on some yourself you need to be quick. These are limited edition bottles and won’t be around long. There is also a chance to win one of 40,000 trolls dolls with each bottle so good luck..
