Poppy is a very pink and girly girl, in fact for years she’s refused to wear anything else. Last month though I managed to sneak a bit of navy into her wardrobe and even she has to admit it looks lovely with the pink.

This is one of her new, more grown up outfits and as you can see she loves it. The cardigan is really warm and cosy, the leggings nice and thick and the bubble dress cute and girly. Still a very pretty outfit but not just pink. Perfect for my little big girl:

The whole outfit was from Laura Ashley. I love their children’s clothes, especially for Poppy’s age (5 1/2). I like children to look like children and love pretty little skirts and dresses. Laura Ashley offers gorgeous colours, fabrics and styles that look good, are comfortable and wash really well too. I must admit the girls have quite a few of their clothes now.

It’s little touches like this that I love:

The bow of course was made by me!
