I love, love, love girls in pretty dresses and thankfully my girls love them too. Summer is my faveourite time of year when the warmer weather means they are worn daily without thick tights or layers required.

Pretty to look at, comfy and cool to wear, we definitely don’t just save them for best. Take this one of Poppy’s:

A beautiful outfit I think you’ll agree. She could wear it out to a special day or to just run around a field and old barn as she did here. The colours and print are so pretty bringing out the green in her eyes, the cardigan makes it warm and the sandals just finish it off.

I think you will see her in this outfit lots even when the cooler weather arrives. Thick tights and a tshirt will make it cosy for Autumn.

I hope my girls continue to love pretty things for a long time yet.
