Back in January I needed a pressie for a special 10 year girl and googled “cool presents for 10 year olds”. The present that kept coming up was Harumika, so we brought her some. Then last week the opportunity came up for us to try it for ourselves and I couldn’t wait to find out what all the fuss was about.

 

 

If you haven’t heard of Harumika yet, it’s a very clever fashion design toy. There are lots of different sets to collect but basically it involves a manequin, material, stickers and accessories. No cutting, glueing or sewing required, it comes with a simple stylus to help dress the mannequin.

Ours arrived at the end of last week when we were all poorly. Poppy was beside herself with excitement. I was a little worried at not yet 5 years she might be a bit young but she only needed showing once and was off. It’s such simple idea but then you can let your imagination and creative ideas go mad!

As Poppy is still so young she might not be as creative as a 10 year old but she had great fun trying!
