Today’s smartphones make it easier to take lots of photos but what happens if you lose your phone or drop it in the bath? You would lose all those memories too.

I do have lots of photos around my home but I have so many more just sitting there on my phone. I was therefore thrilled to be offered the chance to review Snapbox, a service that turns photographs, including those from Facebook and Instagram, into high quality canvas prints. Already successful in America, they have recently launched a new site here in the UK.

To start your snapbox order all you need to do is upload an image ( or email if you prefer). I knew exactly which picture I wanted to use and uploaded it straight away.

It doesn’t take long and you can immediately see exactly what your print will look like. Here’s mine:

Below it you will find a list of sizes and prices and click on the one you want. Honestly this site is so easy to use!

Next you have the choice to crop, rotate and apply effects. I liked mine the way it was but I have could have made it look like any of these:

Once you are happy you click DONE and then you are ready to pay.

My print arrived promotly and was very well wrapped. Even better it was all ready to hang. I loved it. I must admit Husband was pretty impressed too. He suggested that I could have centred the photo a bit but was oherwise very impressed that the picture had come out of my phone. Most of the ones on the walls he took 🙂

I would really recommend Snapbox and would definitely use again.

The only thing I would like to see is perhaps a choice of frame colour. Typically I’m a white or light wood type of person however, Husband has recently started a little gallery of black frames so this won’t look out of place in our home.

I can’t wait to order more now.
