Yeeeehhhh, we’ve finally had the news we have been waiting for. Rosie has been offered a school place at the same school as her big Sister and I’m jumping up and down with excitement. The relief is phenomenonal 🙂

You may well have seen my very stressed post from the other day, I cannot express how awful the wait has been. I know many parents choose to keep their children back for a year but this little girl was ready and wanted to go. I couldn’t hold her back.

Thank goodness my stress levels are rapidly reducing now. I no longer feel like a pressure cooker about to explode and the baby elephants in my stomach have been replaced by gentle butterflies.

My parents took the girls tor a few nights last night so I only had to worry about myself. I managed to pack 6 boxes, sort another for the tip, enjoy a bubble bath and even better sleep in till 8am before getting up and going for a run. I’ve now packed loads more and I’m feeling much better.

Now all I need to worry about is the usual things like: will the girls like their new school?, will they like their teachers, will they make friends?, buying school uniform, school shoes etc. still worries but much more manageable ones.

Next week Husband and I are getting to enjoy 2 nights in a hotel close to the new house. That way we can be there for the removal van and not have the 1st night surrounded by boxes. I’m really looking forward to it. I think I need it.

This has to have been the most stressful move ever, made so by a lack of school place. A horrendous time that thankfully can be put behind us now. I really don’t want to have to go through this again though.
