Ravensburger make fabulous puzzles but they have recently introduced something new – puzzles for the under threes. My girls love puzzles and I love how they are educational and help with developing good hand/eye coordination, discipline and teamwork among other things . We have a stash that we put away for rainy days.

While at 23 months, Rosie isn’t perfect she does enjoy trying her best. Poppy at almost 4 likes to help her along.

The puzzles they were sent to try were the first in this range…Minnie Mouse:

The box includes 4 different mini ones. Perfect for this girly household the puzzles were all gloriously pretty and pink. They are 2,3,4 and 5 pieces.

The pieces are of a good size, nice and chunky for little hands to grab hold of. They seem quite solid too so I imagine they will survive being pushed and pulled around by Rosie and last a while.

Aimed at 18+ months, Poppy did hers within seconds but then you would expect that. Rosie at first just wanted to sort them into piles and build towers (she did pick the 5 piece one to start with). She quickly realised what she was meant to do  and enjoyed herself:

We can’t fault these puzzles really. Aimed at a younger age these puzzles are perfect for little people.
