I've had to include my photos for the past two weeks as I wasn't organised enough before going on holiday (whoops)! The first few days of the week and Easter Holidays (Mon to Thurs) were spent at home with me. The weather was a bit hit and miss but we got outside as much as possible on bikes, scooters, puddle jumping and to the park. Friday though, Daddy came home and the real holiday started!

We were planning to go abroad for the week but due to our tenants moving out and it costing so much to put right we couldn't afford it and needed a change of plan. We ended up booking a week at a Featherdown Farm in Cornwall and enjoyed a fabulous time. I have so many more photos so keep your eyes peeled for more exciting posts.

Day 96 – “Puddle Jumping”

Day 97 – “Rainy Day Play”

Day 98 “Drs and Nurses”

Day 99 – “Fun At The Park”

Day 100 – “Peekaboo”

Day 101 – “Our Holiday Starts Here”

We arrived at Boswarthen Farm, Penzance and our holiday started. A warm welcome from Madeline the owner and the safari tent looking just as it did on the internet were a great start. The girls happily played outside in the sandpit and running around whilst Husband built the fire. Unfortunately I had a migraine so an early night was in order.

Day 102 “Lazy Farm Days”

Seeing as though we were staying a week we decided to enjoy a lazy day on the farm. We enjoyed watching the cows being fed (especially the calfs) and milking. The girls ran around, looked after the chickens, flew a kite and had wheelbarrow races. It ended with a pizza night on the campsite.

Day 103 – Beach Fun & Camp Fire”
I cheated with two pictures as couldn't decide. The day started with seeing a calf born. It was amazing to see. Later we headed over to Marazion Beach which was gorgeous. The girls happily played with buckets and spades, explored the rock pools and played in the park. Tonight there was a camp fire with tractor tides. I went along with the girls as the responsible Adult, it was brilliant fun.

Day 104 – “Lands End and Sennen Beach”

A beautiful day at Lands End. We didn't realise how pretty it would be. Later we stopped at another beach for some fun. The girls enjoyed splashing in rock pools which were a bit deep and they all ended up soaked. Lots of fun though. An early night for everyone!

Day 105 “Wild Ponies”

A lovely 2 hour walk exploring the farm and surrounding area. It was absolutely beautiful, with the highlight being up close to Exmoor ponies. Amazing. The rest of the day was spent on the farm, more kite flying, chasing chickens etc. very relaxing.

Day 106 “St Ives?….Really”

Today we headed over to St Ives which was absolutely beautiful. It wasn't the easiest place to get to with young ones but was so worth it. The beach looked like it belonged in a foreign brochure. I loved it. We were all exhausted tonight though.

Day 107 – Wheelbarrow and Dandelions”

A perfect beach day today. We spent the whole day there like tourists with the campsite windbreakers and nets. I took millions of photos but these taken at the start of the day really make me smile. Tonight we joined in with the campfire. We toasted marshmallows, the girls enjoyed another tractor ride and we even saw another baby calf. It was born in the field but we saw it after only a few hours. It's amazing how far Rosie has come on this week. At the start she was terrified of cows but tonight she scampered off to put her wellies on to go and see them in the dark!

Day 108 – “Chasing Chickens One Last Time”

The girls were really sad to leave today. They want to move in here with Madeline and Adrian. We let them visit the cows and chickens one last time before leaving. It was a lovely morning before heading back on the long journey home.

Day 109 – “Hello Cousins”!

The girls were missing the farm but cheered up this afternoon when we headed over to my Parents. My Sister and her boys had arrived and they all played happily together in the garden. We all enjoyed a barbeque together before we headed home. They will be here until Monday though so lots more fun planned.

Hope you've all had a couple of weeks and will be over to check out your photos over the next few days.
