It was a busy and fun filled week for us this week. Husband and I enjoyed a bit of child free time, I got to go shopping and to the races and we saw lots of Husband/ Daddy too.
Day 69 – “A Pretty Sunset”
Day 69 – “A Pretty Sunset”
Mum & Dad had the girls whilst we went up to our house in Chester. The tenants are leaving but house wasn't ready to hand back. Was very disappointed with way it was left 🙁 I got to see an old friend though that I have not seen in years so that was really lovely. The girls went to feed ducks & the park as well as a Zumba birthday party.
Day 70 – “Cheeky Chops”
Daisy is so cheeky these days. This was her ready for school run this morning. She had Poppy's big bag and looked like she was going. Mum, Daisy and I went shopping with my One4all card I'm reviewing. A great day out! This afternoon my very best friend came to stay 🙂 it really was fantastic to see her.
Day 71 – “Silly Mummy”
A quiet day today. It was warm in sun but cold in the shade. Rosie made me laugh today in her too small puddle jumping suit. She didn't want to get dressed & only had a short sleeve top & tights under it. The bike seat was too low too as I had lowered it for Daisy yesterday and forgot to put it back. Poor thing complained her legs hurt & I didn't realise why until we got home!
Day 72 – “The Races”
A lovely day off for me at the races. Dad babysat and I enjoyed a full day out, starting with a big breakfast and ending with dinner out. I joined in with a few bets and won x2 (over £60 in total). I was sad at the end of the day when I realised two horses that fell had to be put down though 🙁 not nice. Husband came home tonight.
Day 73 – “Hospital Waiting Room”
Daisy finally had her allergy appoint today (she's been waiting since Aug last year). She has been on egg free diet since December after 3-4 nasty reactions. Everyone expected it to be positive but it wasn't, there was a slight raising of skin but nothing else. They have told us not to give her egg yet as she may need further testing. We have to wait for a letter. Wasn't expecting it but Husband was back again tonight, a lovely surprise!
Day 74 – “Building A Nest”
The girls are loving being outside all the time again now. Daisy especially. She is really enjoying being able to join in with her Sisters games and keeps pinching Rosie's scooter too. Daddy was back this afternoon which meant I had 1 less trip to the school. I was exhausted today.
Day 75 – “Let It Go”
Poppy and Rosie just don't sit still and are always dancing and singing. They are proper little actresses and after seeing Frozen at Christmas especially love singing all those songs. This is what Poppy's doing here! After a busy morning of ballet and tap lessons it was an afternoon of fun in our overgrown garden.
Hope you've enjoyed a good week too.
