It's been half term this week and it's been really lovely having a break from the school run and spending time with all three of my girls. The weathers been lovely so we've taken the bikes out most days and have just relaxed. Husband was away Monday to Friday so It was just us girls but we kept ourselves busy and have even caught up with a few friends.

Day 48 – “Searching For Butterflies”

I got to enjoy a lie in this morning, then we went to view a house (it wasn't the one but watch this space). After that we went on to enjoy a lovely day out at a butterfly zoo. It was bright, warm and sunny. A really lovely family day out and a great start to half term.

Day 49 – “First Bunches”

Yeeehh Daisy's hair gifts into bunches at last. Today we enjoyed a very relaxing lazy day. This morning we popped over to Tescos to stock up on some colouring paper and then popped into Costa for babychinnos. Once home, the big girls just wanted to draw and play with the play dough ice cream set. Mummy got to cuddle up and watch Tangled with them too…..very relaxing.

Day 50 – “Painting Skittles “

A busy day today. We headed over to Poppy's friends house which is about 20 minutes away so the big girls rode their bikes. It was bright and sunny again. Perfect for bike rides. They had fun playing whilst I enjoyed the coffee and chat. This afternoon we painted skittles for our entry into the Center Parcs February Challenge (post coming soon). Then this evening husband surprised me by coming home. He turned up at 7.30pm so missed the girls but it was lovely for me 🙂

Day 51 – “A Lazy Day”

Today I was shattered and the girls were playing up a bit so it wasn't the best. We went out on the bikes this morning but then they just wanted to play Barbie. I think they were a bit disappointed Daddy couldn't come home tonight but playing skittles made them smile!

Day 52 – “Sisters Help Each Other”

A lovely day today. We caught up with our neighbours and agreed to look after the chickens again for the next few days, then headed over to see one of Rosies friends. They had made us some yummy treats and the girls played lovely together. This afternoon the girls played skittles for hours, more drawing and Barbie fun. Then they helped cook chicken pie for tea. They made little jam hearts with the left over pastry and decided they were the best cooks ever.

Day 53 – “Jigsaw Puzzle Fun”

Another relaxing day.The girls played skittles and jigsaw puzzles for ages today and I made Poppy a dress. Husband came home after lunch and took the big girls treasure hunting which they thought was great fun.

Day 54 – “Modeling For Mummy”

The usual ballet and tap lessons but once home Poppy couldn't wait to get into the dress I made her. I took lots of photos (post coming soon). Daddy took the big girls treasure hunting again this afternoon and made banana bread with them, giving me a little break. It was a bit black but they all ate it haha.

Hope you've all enjoyed a lovely half term. Will pop over and check out your photos too.
