I really don't like to moan but this hasn't been the best week in the World. All three girls seem to have been constantly ill since half term. They've had slapped cheek syndrome, then another flu/virus thing (minus the red cheeks) with a horrible chesty cough, violent headaches and pains in their joints followed by a sickness and upset tummy one. Oh and our boiler broke! Husband is still away and my parents were away so it has just been little old me muddling along the best I could. It's been horrible :-(.

Right enough of the poor me and let's get on with the photos. Obviously they've all been extremely poorly so they are not looking at their best but here's the best of them:

Sunday – Day 328 “Party Time”

The girls were a bit quiet this morning and Rosie fell asleep mid morning which was a bit strange but then they both perked up and were all excited about a birthday party they were going to. The party was lots of fun but then Rosie quickly went downhill throwing up several times once home 🙁

Monday – Day 329 “Packed Lunches”

Aaahhh the boiler gave up today. Guy came to check it and said it was full of water and at the highest pressure he had ever seen. He declared it broke and left me with just a tiny fan heater. Not great when it's cold and your children are poorly.

Rosie continued to be sick and Poppy had a temperature (39.6) and tummy pains so I kept her off school too. The girls chilled out with duvet beds on the sofa, cuddles with mummy and movies. At lunch time they were so upset about missing school I agreed they could have packed lunches. They didn't eat much but it made them smile.

Tuesday – Day 330 “Reading By My Own”

Poppy went to school today as seemed ok but came home with raging temperature (back up to almost 40 degrees) poor thing. Rosie obviously not well and screamed all the way home from dropping Poppy off this morning. This then set Daisy off and they continued to cry for another 30 mins!!! It's exhausting. Rosie had upset tummy all day so it was another quiet one with cuddles, stories, Disney movies and the duvets downstairs trying to keep warm. I managed to get the fire to work and the plumber dropped 2 mini oil filled radiators round so it was a bit warmer.

Wednesday – Day 331 “Searching For a Stars”

The girls made me smile tonight when they were star gazing. I couldn't resist taking this cute photo. I love the way Daisy tries to copy everything her big Sisters do. Poppy and Rosie really unwell so more cuddles and stories and movies. They played a little in the playroom but really didn't want to do much else. Rosie was feeling a bit better by the afternoon and was actually really naughty. She scribbled over her body, clothes and Poppy's school polo shirt in red felt tip pen. I really wasn't happy and she ended up on naughty cushion for 40 mins.

Thursday – Day 332 “Helping Herself”

I don 't think I feed my Daughter enough. Today she went and helped herself a box of cereal from the kitchen, walked into the living room and poured it over the floor before eating it. It's all she's wanted to eat today. But then she's got the bug too poor thing! Raging temperature and seriously upset tummy. Needed lots of cuddles as did Poppy and Rosie and excuse the bruises. She has lost her balance a lot this week and has been falling over left, right and centre. Think it's related to virus plus cutting 3 big teeth poor thing.

Good thing though – the boiler was fixed…hurray!

Friday – Day 333 “Living In A Box”

All girls unwell and not up for much at all so another very lazy day. This afternoon I brought out a box for them to play in but only Daisy and Rosie were interested. I really hope they all feel better soon.

Saturday – Day 334 “Gramps To The Rescue”

Saturday – A much better day…..yeeehhhh. The girls all slept all night and woke up without temperatures too. They really wanted to go to ballet so I let them as not contagious (no sickness since Wednesday) and Risie had energy she needed to burn off. Rosie was fine but Poppy was exhausted after tap so skipped ballet. My Mum and Dad popped over at lunchtime and Dads actually staying until tomorrow evening which is lovely and much appreciated. I even got some time out to get my hair cut and coloured and tomorrow I'm getting breakfast in bed, lucky me!!!

All in all the worst week ever and I'm glad it's over. Hope yours has been better and ours is next week.
