It’s been a bit of a weird and stressful week for us.

It started off brilliantly with a day at the seaside and a party tea for Rosie’s 4th Birthday, husband was of course back in the country which was wonderful but our struggle for school places has been causing a huge amount of pressure on us as you can imagine. Fingers crossed we get some good news soon. The week ended with Rosie being very sick 🙁

Day 180 – “Rosie Turns Four”

As husband only arrived back from America yesterday we decided on a family day out to celebrate Rosie’s Birthday. Rosie chose the beach and enjoyed a lovely day. We even took her new scooter. When we got back my parents came over for a party tea and of course the amazing Frozen Birthday cake. I still can’t believe she is 4!

Day 181 – “Wants To Sleep In Poppy’s Bed”

The big girls were both at school all day so Daisy and I met up with friends for coffee and cake at a lovely garden centre near to where we live. It was such a sunny day we sat outside whilst Daisy ran around everywhere. It was lovely. We got back in home for her nap but she wanted to play in Poppy’s bed before getting in her own. She would have slept there if I let her.

Day 182 – “Fairy Bubbles”

This tinkerbell bubble fairy was one of Rosie’s birthday presents so the girls had great fun with her this afternoon. Poppy was in a great mood today even when we did her times tables practice. She’s known her 4x table for months but messes it up on test day as she gets nervous so tonight we did lots of work around confidence and believing in herself. Fingers crossed she passes tomorrow. I promised her a prize if she does it.

Day 183 -“Are You a Sure I Can’t Sleep Here?”

Yeeehh Poppy passed her 4xs tables. She was so pleased with herself & enjoyed telling me she told herself she could do it. Daisy really loves Poppy’s bed and now gets in everyone’s before she gets in her own. I’m not in a hurry to put her in a bed yet though. I have a feeling she would be a nightmare at getting out. Husband came home tonight. We are both stressed out about school situation.

Day 184 – “Fun On The Trampoline”

A lovely fun afternoon with Rosie then after school the girls were invited to play in our lovely new neighbours paddling pool. Lots of fun. They came home & had a bath & hair wash to warm up before eating their dinner in their pjs. They all thought this backwards way of our bedtime routine was very funny.

Day 185 – “More Fairy Magic”

A quiet day but then this afternoon husband came home and we all played in the garden with Poppy’s prize. It was a fairy hidden in something looking like a bath bomb. The girls enjoyed watching it fizz away in the water.

Then tonight was the worst night I’ve ever had. I was literally up all night with Rosie who had stomach pains and vomiting. I didn’t like the sound of her breathing so slept in her room with her just in case. When I say she was sick all night I mean all night – it was every hour from about 11pm till 6am. Not great poor thing.

Day 186 – “Poorly Girl”

A very quiet and boring day as Rosie was poorly. Husband took Poppy to ballet and tap and Daisy for a long scooter ride. But apart from that we didn’t do much. Rosie’s had a bit of a temperature all day, she’s rested and slept but seems a little better. Fingers crossed.

Can’t wait to see all of your photos.
