It’s been a busy week this one. Poppy’s had her Pre- primary ballet exam and her celebration of Year 1 show, Rosie has started her pre birthday celebrations, Daisy has been very mishevious naughty and Daddy has come home from working away in America for a few weeks…yeeehhh!
I do realise that this week most of my photos are of Rosie. However, she’s been loving the camera rather than hiding from it for a change so I’m making the most of it.

Day 173 – Ballet Pose
Last night my Dad stayed over so he could help out today. He’s such a star! It was Poppy’s ballet exam and we needed to go an hour early so he stayed and looked after the younger two. She passed and starts primary ballet on Saturday and will recieve a certificate in September. The rest of the day was spent playing in the garden.
Day 174 – Crinkly Hair
Rosie had her hair in plaits last night and at school today. After school we took them out and it was all cute and wavy. She loved it. A fun afternoon in the garden.
Day 175 – Not Sleepy Yet
Today was a quiet one. We missed the usual play groups as I had to wait in for a parcel. I was thrilled as it was another Britax Running Buggy to review (watch this space). The girls were very sweet and playful before bedtime tonight. They were also very well behaved and affectionate today 🙂
Day 176 – Beautifully Dishrevelled
Today was Poppy’s end of year Celebration of YR1 performance which was really lovely. A friend kindly looked after Daisy so Mum, Rosie and I could relax and enjoy the show. It was great. Lots of fun in the garden after school and of course ice creams too. The girls are loving these sunny afternoons and evenings. I love this photo of Poppy. Looking all dishrevelled after a hard day at school.
Day 177 – Bright Eyes
It was Tumble Tots with Daisy this morning and then a fun afternoon with Rosie whilst Daisy napped. She was very sweet and playful, happily modelling for my fashion post in exchange for a mini cornetto. I love this photo I took off her but tinkered with the colours a bit as the original looked very orangey. Love this tint – it makes her eyes pop!
Day 179 – A Birthday Teaparty
Where has all be rain come from? I got drenched on every school run today (x3). Because Daddy comes back in the middle of the night tonight we decided to take the pressure of ourselves and not have a big party for Rosie on Sunday. Afterall she’s still so young. Instead we had a little Teaparty/ picnic with her friends this afternoon and are planning a family day out on Sunday (her actual birthday). She was happy enough dressed in a tutu skirt, eating party food and dancing away with the others to the Frozen sound track with balloons! A happy little girl.
Tonight Mum and Dad came over. Dad stayed with the girls whilst Mum & I went to collect Husband from the airport (at 3am)! A long night but fab to get him home.
Day 180 – Daddy’s Home
Woke up to Husband in bed for the first time in weeks and couldn’t help smiling. It was even better when all the girls came in. They discovered the Hershey’s kisses he had brought for us all so we enjoyed a real treat of chocolate in bed to celebrate Daddy’s return.
The rest of the day included ballet & tap lessons followed by a lazy, relaxing afternoon. Everyone’s just happy to have Daddy home…perfect!
Hope it’s been a great week for you too, can’t wait to see your photos.
