What a lovely week (except for Wednesday but that’s a long story). It’s amazing the difference a bit of sun makes. We’ve seen lots of my Mum after hardly seeing her last month and of course it ended with Brit Mums!

Day 166
With Husband away on Fathers Day we invited my Dad (and Mum of course) round for a little barbeque. It was a lovely day although Mum & I popped out for a bit to take Rosie to a party. Later Husband face timed and opened his Father’s Day things in front of the girls. He was impressed with their cards this year, especially Poppy’s very neat joined up handwriting. I didn’t take many photos today but wish I had got Dad with the girls.
Day 167
A usual quiet day for Daisy and I and then some outdoors fun when the big girls got back. We went for a run, stopped at the park on the way home from school and then had fun in the garden too.
Day 168
A busy morning with mad dash to the shops looking for sun hats and a red tshirt for sports day, followed by a toddler group. Daisy had a great time! This afternoon the girls had fun with this fairy garden we are building for review. Lots of fun!
Day 169
A bit of a bad day and I was grumpy. We are due to move this Summer (husband in Army) and don’t have School places yet. The new Borough haven’t been particularly helpful or reassuring and the whole situation is a nightmare with me refusing to move until they have places. This evening I went to a school meeting to discover what class Rosie would be in if she stayed. Luckily my Mum was around to help and cheer me up. We also enjoyed some ice play in the garden after school today.
Day 170
A much better day today. A busy morning and then this afternoon I took Rosie to a story session to prepare her for big school. Trying to stay positive. Fun in the park after school and lots more fun in the garden too.
Day 171
Headed off to London for Brit Mums and left the girls in the safe hands of my parents. It really was a lovely afternoon and evening. The usual madness but managed to catch up with lots of people I wanted to. Even though it was my 4th time I was still a bit overwhelmed and nervous! Hope I met you and said hi but if I didn’t I would have liked to.
Day 172
Another busy day at Brit Mums. A highlight was the wine tasting session with Helen but my wobbly legs needed a rest afterwards so headed outside for a rest. Despite taking my big camera I took hardly any photos but It looked so pretty outside I took photos of the decorations there. The jouney back was a complete nightmare but thank goodness we made it back before midnight!
Hope you all been enjoying the sunshine too.

June 26, 2014 at 11:42 am (11 years ago)looks like a busy outdoor week love the flower picking pic, and Sundays is just adorable. When we moved schools (with the RAF) we got dragged along and booked in after mum had chosen a school for us (apart from forces schools where it was obvious you would go when abroad)
Glad you enjoyed brit mums

June 28, 2014 at 2:19 pm (11 years ago)Was lovely to meet you last week but I’m sorry your journey home was so bad. Hope the school situation gets sorted soon – it must be so frustrating for all of you not knowing.
