It’s been half term this week and to be honest it hasn’t been the easies week ever. With Husband away Tuesday to Friday, no car and lots of rain I’ve tried to keep them busy but it hasn’t always been easy. We’ve survived though and looking back have actually done quite a lot.
Day 145 – “Puddle Jumping & Giggles”
Day 146 – “Playground Fun”
Day 147 – “Big Sisters &Toddler Groups”
Day 148 – “Building Dens On A Horrible Day”
Day 149 – “Messy Ice-Creams”
Day 151 – “Three Little Fairies”
Day 145 -“Puddle Jumping & Giggles”
Today was a lovely day. Husband took us for a walk around a local nature reserve he had discovered whilst out cycling. The girls loved their close encounter with cows whilst I was a bit scared to be honest, Daisy enjoyed her Daddy helping her over the puddles. Afterwards we went out to lunch at Pizza Hut before enjoying a quiet afternoon at home. Just lovely!
Day 146 – “Playground Fun”
Husband had the day off and it was another dry day meaning more outdoors fun. This time it was a trip to the park. A fun day out followed by another lunch out and then a quiet afternoon watching Disney’s Frozen.
Day 147 – “Toddler Groups”
Today I took Poppy and Rosie to Daisy’s Zumba class and toddler group. They were both very reluctant but once there had a great time. They met up with friends, danced along to Disney songs before making and flying kites. A great day. They even had their photos taken for the local paper.
Day 148 – “A Horrible Day”
Today was an awful day. You can read all about it here but It was just one of those days!
Day 149 – “Messy Ice-Creams”
Determined not to have a day like yesterday we started off with a run. Well I ran pushing Daisy and the big girls cycled. We did 5k and afterwards they were all as good as gold. With no energy to argue, they played beautifully and Mummy was much happier and more relaxed. Later the big girls enjoyed Icecreams but I think they painted their faces when I went to answer the door haha. I couldn’t resist taking a photo.
Day 150 – “Fun At The Park”
This morning we met up with friends in the park and then brought them back to ours for an inside picnic. It was great fun! This afternoon daddy came home yeeehhh!
Day 151 – “Three Little Fairies”
Today we had the usual ballet and tap lessons but then this afternoon headed off to Pricknash Bird and Deer Park where they were having a special fairy day. Watch out for post coming soon and lots more photos of my little fairies!
Hope you’ve all been enjoying half term and will be over to check out your photos soon.

June 1, 2014 at 9:02 pm (11 years ago)love the three fairies, did they get an answer at the door? We all have off days, dont let it get you down too much.
Oh dear at the ice creams, Bob is the worlds worst for mess, even a bowl of dry coco pops and his face is filthy.
The den looks like a great co-operative build
