Project 365 – Days 131 to 137

Can you believe it's May already? The weeks seem to be flying by. It's been a lovely week in this house, mainly helped by the good weather. I'm a little late with this post as I've had a few technical difficulties and as a result some of the photos weren't quite the planned ones but at least they were taken on the right day:

Day 131 – “Tired Girls”

The girls were all invited to a Birthday party today. It was such a gorgeous day we stayed hours and it may have involved a little champagne for the grown ups 🙂 A lovely day.

Day 132 – “Fishy Fun”

Once the big girls were safely at school, Daisy and I went out to lunch with a friend. It was really lovely. The food and coffee were great, we got to chat, whilst Daisy just played happily. It was really good to not have to rush and the sunshine was gorgeous! I felt very relaxed.

Day 133 – “A Little Treat”

A beautiful warm sunny day meant the park after school and then Icecreams in the garden. The girls enjoyed playing outside before and after dinner and it felt like sumner. Good for me as I am injured! I've overdone it running, groin strain 🙁 Not allowed to run this week.

Day 134 – “Helped Herself”

Another lazy sunny day. This was Daisy this morning after already having breakfast! She didn't stop eating today (growth spurt?). More fun in the garden this evening.

Day 135 – “Sunshine and Icecreams”

They usual school and preschool. Lots of time spent outside. This afternoon we went to a friends house /play date. We sat in the garden with frappes whilst the children played…..just lovely!

Play 136 – “Silver Star Award”

Poppy came home very excited today as she was awarded her glittery silver reach for the star. My parents popped round on their way back from holiday. It was really nice as I had forgotten they were coming. We ended up having a barbeque in the garden.

Day 137 – “A Special Treat'

The usual ballet/ tap lessons followed by a trip to the park. Poppy wasn't quite right today (shivery, tired and headaches) it passed with plenty of fluids and a bit of Calpol though. More fun in the garden too.
