Today Poppy had a School Jubilee party which was a great success. The whole School got involved and it took place outside, up on some land the School has. The sun was shinning and all the children played. The children went a bit earlier where they enjoyed a picnic lunch. Then the parents came and joined in.

This was Poppy before she headed off to School looking very cute dressed in red, white and blue:

She also had a gorgeous jubilee bow that we brought from Candy Bows:

All the children had made top hats and tiaras this week and showed them off via a fashion show. It was very cute:

Next they had face painting, Rosie didn’t want hers done but Poppy couldn’t wait to be a pretty  butterfly:

There was  also a sweet stall – all the parents had made or brought in some yummy cakes and biscuits so the children were allowed two each. These were my efforts:

Chocolate chip and banana and chocolate muffins….they might not look that impressive but  they tasted pretty good!

There was an outside disco:

and the children entertained us by singing the Queens Jubilee Song – Sing, which was very cute indeed. I did record it but have had a bit of trouble uploading it.

There was also a really good raffle (although we didn’t win anything) and everywhere was decorated in bunting, paper chains and flags made by the children in red, white and blue.

All in all a lovely afternoon.
