Today was World Book Day for the girls, a perfect time for showing of their different personalities. Both love books and stories so were very excited to dress up as characters. This main photo was taken in the morning but I took a few others this afternoon which I've added in too:
Poppy chose to be Silky the fairy from The Enchanted Wood. An easy costume as we already had a beautiful tutu and wings. We teamed it with a long sleeved shirt, some cropped leggings and an old pair of ballet shoes:
Rosie chose to be Little Red Riding Hood. She was going to go as a Snow White but our costume is a bit big/ long on her so this was her second choice. You can't see but underneath her dress is a little red tutu to make it stick out more, something she has done since tiny. She really didn't want her photo taken though:
My two little big girls, in some ways similar but in others oh so different.

March 2, 2015 at 10:52 pm (10 years ago)Oh what a sweet fairy – I love the costume and the pose is very fairy like too. And as for Little Red, I don’t think she’d need the woodman to see off the wolf; she’d be more than capable of taking care of him herself!
