As you might have noticed, the warmer weather has brought all the pretty summer dresses out in our house. To be honest the girls live in dresses and skirts all year round but there’s something really lovely about not having to worry about tights and layers.
Some of the most comfortable and practical dresses are Jersey ones. They can be dressed up or down, worn with tights and cardigans, with long sleeved tshirts underneath or by themselves. They can be easily washed and dried and need little or no ironing (perfect):
This particular dress is this season at John Lewis. It comes in a navy blue too. I spent ages eying up a similar one last year but wasn’t quick enough to get all three so we grabbed them early this year (well my Mum did, they were a present from her). They really are gorgeous.
These dresses need no ironing which is great as I hate ironing and its Daisy’s faveourite. I just wash them, hang them up to dry and then they are ready to go. We’ve experimented with different colour cardigans too. Yellow or pink look particularly good with the aqua.
What have your children been wearing lately?
