My big girls have such a lovely relationship (most of the time) and they really are the best of friends. Daisy is able to join in much more now but she's not able to participate in their conversations and doesn't know why she's giggling when she joins in with them. I'm sure it won't be long though and they will all be partners in crime.
Anyway this weeks ordinary moments post is about Sisters and the special relationship I feel priviliged to watch developing before my very eyes. Last Sunday we took the girls on a lovely walk where they enjoyed running up the hills and rolling down them again.
This was the big girls just chilling up and relaxing at the top of the hill before rolling down it again. They look so cute. They were completely covered in mud but relaxed, windswept and happy. I have no idea what they had been saying to each other but they had been happily giggling away and I love it:
They really are lucky to have each other and I feel very lucky to have them too. I hope they continue to be the best of friends (Daisy too) and look out for each other as they get older.

January 26, 2014 at 6:55 pm (11 years ago)Love it – my sister is my best friend too, we’ve always been close and still laugh about some of our childhood games (like hide and seek under a duvet!). My girls too are developing a lovely relationship. Having a sister is special xx

January 26, 2014 at 8:06 pm (11 years ago)Ah that’s so lovely. I always wonder whether Cherry would be closer to J if he was a girl, she is so girly, but I’m starting to see signs of them getting on better so hopefully they will have a good relationship, for a while at least! x

January 26, 2014 at 10:57 pm (11 years ago)I think all sibling relationships go up and down, mine definitely annoy each other at times but mostly they are best buddies x

January 26, 2014 at 10:56 pm (11 years ago)Such a lovely moment you’ve captured. Toby is only 6 months old but already I can’t wait for him to have a sibling. I had so much fun with my brother when we were kids (and still do!)

January 27, 2014 at 2:18 pm (11 years ago)Thanks Katie. I’m sure your girls will be too. They seem to be already. It’s especially lovely when they really can chat properly and play imaginary games. Thought of you & your girls this weekend when Daisy was playing with her Daddy’s ears 🙂 x
