With gorgeous sunny weather this week it has been great to get outside and play. The girls have loved it and so have I. The only down side is we haven’t seen much of Husband as he has worked long hours this week, not getting in until 8.30pm and out again before the girls got up. This has been extra tiring for me and the girls have missed him lots too.
Monday – Poppy was at School but as she as she got home she couldnt wait to get out and play with the water. Rosie and I had a quiet one . A man came to deliver some packing boxes so I got started and packed 4. I didn’t take any photos today.
Tuesday – Poppy was at School in the morning and Rosie had a lovely morning snooze so we could go to the toddler group this afternoon. They had good fun and then we played outside when we got home. I also packed another 4 boxes:
Wednesday – Poppy was at School all day and I was exhausted! I started to do some jobs this morning and realised I needed to listen to my body and take it easy…so I did. When Rosie was napping I even went and had one. A delicious 1 1/2 hours later I felt revitalised and ready to play with the girls when we picked up Poppy:
Thursday – This morning we had a house inspection so I was busy tidying around first. It went well. This afternoon was Poppy’s Jubilee party. She went to School this morning and then Rosie and I went to join in. It was lots of fun with a disco, face painting and fashion show:
Friday – The girls and I went for a lovely long walk through the woods to get to a friends house. It was very pretty and the girls thought we were going on an adventure. We stayed for a while and got a lift back as I was a bit shattered by this point. It was lovely to catch up and the girls had fun playing with boys toys. We also received our new address…yeehhh we are definitely moving before baby arrives. I had best get packing and organising:
Saturday – The weather wasn’t that great so we went swimming. It was great fun and the girls loved it. We stayed and enjoyed a meal in the brasserie and then came home so Rosie could nap. I got to drive the car for the first time and enjoyed it. This evening Husband and I watched a film together. Its nice to have him around.
Sunday – We went to Trago Mills in Newton Abbott. The place was so busy it wasn’t that nice at all. We didnt buy much but the girls had great fun seeing the animals there, I also drove home. During the afternoon I went downhill and felt terrible. I was really itchy all over and felt sick. I ended up going for a shower and then to bed for a few hours leaving Husband with the girls.
We are a bit sad to see the sunny spell has ended and have our fingers crossed it comes back.
