Wow this week has been quite eventful as its the week our baby girl finally arrived.

Monday – a bit of a lazy, quiet day. I was feeling huge and grumpy so we walked around to the shops to try and get things going but that was about it. The girls are getting fed up of waiting now and just as I kissed Poppy goodnight she said “im going to dream really hard Daisy comes out tonight”.

Tuesday –  it was the early hours of this morning when Daisy Ella made her dramatic entrance into the World.  I ended up in theartre and then had to stay in Hospital. Husband brought the girls in to meet their baby Sister and then took them to my parents who looked after them for the day. When Husband took the girls home that night, Mum and Dad came to visit me. The Hospital wasn’t that great and very, very boring but it did give me a chance to have lots of cuddles with my gorgeous baby girl.

Wednesday – I managed to get out of hospital by lunch time but was not impressed with the whole situation as they did not even bother to repeat the blood tests I stayed in to have! It was lovely to get home though and just be a family. The girls love their new Sister. Mum popped round later with a casserole.  Shes been fab and we are lucky to have them nearby. It was a long night – Daisy was very unsettled. She has lots of mucus in the back of her throat and it was a vicious cycle of feeding, winding, vomiting, changing her nappy over and over until about 4am!

Thursday – Husbands Mum and Niece came for the day to see us all and meet baby Daisy. It was a lovely day and the girls really enjoyed themselves too. Its lovely to be so much closer to both sides of our family. Devon was nice but it felt like the end of the earth and we didn’t see half as much of our families as we would have liked. Another long night though!

Friday – The midwife came out today and checked Daisy and I over. We are all okay and Daisy weighed 8Ibs 13ozs. Later we went over to Mums for lunch as my Auntie Carol, Lorraine and Cohen came to visit. It was lovely to see them all and they got to enjoy some baby cuddles. Daisy was really unsettled though so after a few hours we brought her home, leaving the girls there to play. They ended up staying the night and had a fun sleep over. Husband and I were up all night with Daisy again though. She was not a happy girl.

Saturday – Mum and Dad took the girls to a soft play centre before bringing them home after lunch. They all had great fun and it meant Husband and I had a lazy morning with Daisy after another long night. We were both shattered after not sleeping properly all week. Daisy was much happier today though. She fed every 2-3 hours and was much less sick. Enjoying all the baby cuddles and happy the girls don’t seem to be too jealous.

Sunday – A bit of a quiet one. We managed to get lots done at home and just enjoyed being a little family. When Rosie and Daisy napped this afternoon I did too which made a huge difference.

All in all a lovely week. The girls are pleased Daisy has finally arrived and cant stop hugging and kissing her which is lovely to see. Apart from a few difficult nights she has slotted right in to the family.
