The weeks are flying by at the moment. I cannot believe that Daisy turns 14 weeks tomorrow and Poppy has been at School for half a term already. It will be Christmas before we know it.
Monday – Coffee this morning with Jo and Fraser and a quiet afternoon. Mum popped round which was lovely.
Tuesday – This morning we went to our usual music group with friends and both girls really enjoyed it. Then this afternoon we had our lovely friends come to see us who we haven’t seen in ages. The girls all played lovely together. They particularly enjoyed decorating Halloween chocolate apples whilst Rosy and I caught up on gossip and she enjoyed baby cuddles. It was lovely and we are going to make sure we don’t leave it so long next time.
Wednesday – We really didn’t do much today. Mum popped round for a little while before work which was nice. Then this evening Poppy amazed me with her reading skills and my lovely Husband came home early. He’s supposed to be working away but is back for a few days as needed a computer. Lucky me!
Thursday – Tumble Tots day. Rosie is getting more confident each week and really enjoyed it. Mum popped in afterwards. She stayed for lunch and did my ironing again (she’s great!)
Friday – Stay and play at Poppy’s School this morning which was as sweet as always. Poppy loves showing off what she has done during the week and Rosie loves to play in the little house there. It was followed by a bit of a quiet one.
Saturday – Ballet day and Rosie went in to her class with no trouble and no tears 🙂 Husband had to work so the girls and I played out on the bikes and trampoline this afternoon.
Sunday – A quiet day at home. Mum and Dad were going to come for lunch but cancelled as they had had a bad reaction to flu jab.
Heres some of the best bits:
All in all a lovely week made better by Husband coming back. Although he worked long hours it was great to see him in the evenings. Daisy seems more settled too. I hope it continues.
