Its been a bit of a mixed week in this house. Daisy has been a bit unsettled partly because I gave up caffeine at the start of the week and started drinking mint tea instead, not realising it dried up your milk supply… whoops! All sorted now after I realised what had happened but she still takes ages to wind. Due to her needing so much attention the other two girls have been playing up lots and fighting for my attention. On a positive note though, my Nana has been around all week again which was lovely, oh and I got to go shopping for me.

Monday – Straight after the School run, Rosie and I went for coffee with Jo and her little boy. We then nipped into Tesco to update our craft supplies. Rosie was particularly thrilled with the purple play dough I brought for her. This afternoon Mum and Nana came over and stayed to babysit whilst I nipped out for Poppy’s first parents evening. Unfortunately Husband didn’t make it home in time soi I had to go alone but they did say she was a pleasure to teach 🙂

Tuesday – Went to our regular music group this morning which Rosie really enjoyed. This afternoon got some jobs done. Rosie was very tried and grumpy today which made me tired and grumpy too.

Wednesday – Had a bit of a bad night with Daisy and this morning went out for coffee (well chamomile tea as still off the caffeine) with jo. Then came back and got ready to go out for lunch with Mum and Nana. We went to a garden Centre with a soft play area which Rosie enjoyed. She is getting more confident and was playing with other children.

Thursday – Tumble Tots this morning. Rosie is getting better and really enjoys these sessions. We then spent the afternoon at home. Daisy was really unsettled which upset Rosie. I was in bed by 8.30pm as sooo tired!

Friday – A day from hell…everything went wrong. It started off okay as we stayed to stay and play at Poppy’s School but she cried as we were leaving. Next we were off to town to meet my mum and Nana. Somehow though I got the pram adapters stuck onto the car seat and couldn’t get them off so almost didn’t get there. I ran over to my neighbours house in a panic with my car seat but she couldn’t get them off either but rescued me by kindly lending us a car seat.

i finally got there late and Husband rang telling me I had locked him out so he wasn’t impressed. I didn’t rush home though but stayed out for lunch. Couldn’t get anything i wanted and neither could Mum and Nana. I forgot to put the inner bit on Daisy’s bottle which meant when my Mum went to feed her she got covered in my breast milk (whoops) and then I got lost on the way home. It wouldn’t have been too bad but I was cutting it fine with picking Poppy up from School. All in all not a good day! At least Husband now has a week off.

Saturday – Husband took the girls to their ballet lessons whilst I stayed home with an unsettled baby. Unfortunatley though Rosie didnt go into her clas. Apparantly she clung on to Daddy screaming. I couldnt undertsand it as she .had been practising all week and was excited to be in her uniform. later we went to the Designer village outlet and I treated myself to some lovely new clothes…so exciting. Tonight X Factor and choclate.

Sunday – The girls were all nightmares today. Daisy was unsettled and uncomfortable all day, Rosie was a little monster doing everything naughty she could and Poppy was a whiny, ungrateful little brat! We actually brought her a new bike today but after having a balance bike she didnt get peddaling. She was very grumpy, wouldnt listen and just cried. All in all not the best week but Husband did get to see that our little angels havent actually been their normal selves recently and that it has been hard on me without him.

Hoping next week is better.
