It’s been a busy week in this house. Daisy turned 5 weeks, Poppy started School and we’ve been finding out what groups are available for Rosie. Life is till hectic with three under five but we are getting there slowly.
Monday – Daisy was unsettled this morning so I stuck her in the pram and off we all went to Costa for a coffee leaving the chaos at home. The day improved after that. The girls played very nicely together and it was an okay day.
Tuesday – Not a lot happened today, Mum popped round for a bit this afternoon but that was about it.
Wednesday – Poppy’s first day at School…well morning really, they are breaking them in gently. She loved it though. Luckily I was organised last night and layed out all our clothes and stuff. I even had time for photos. I took the other two girls to meet our friends for coffee and cake before going back to pick her up. She cant wait to go back. Discovered they do a tumble tots class across the road so am going to take Rosie next week.
Thursday – Such an enjoyable morning. Jo came round with Fraser which was lovely. I gave the girls some gingerbread men to decorate which they enjoyed and then my neighbour Katie knocked on the door and brought around a little pressie for Daisy. She, her Mum and little boy all came in for a cup of tea and a chat which was so nice. Daisy was surprisingly settled too which was perfect. This afternoon she was a little more unsettled but luckily the girls played lovely together.
Friday – A quiet morning but then this afternoon Auntie Liz and Uncle Gray came to visit and meet Daisy for the first time. It was lovely to see them and they enjoyed having baby cuddles. Mum and Dad came over with them but mum is not well at all.
Saturday – We went to look at bikes for Poppy as she is outgrowing her strider. She was a nightmare though and ended up with nothing. We did manage to get her hair cut though and Husband took some nice pictures too.
Sunday – Daisy was really unsettled today and suffered terribly with trapped wind. I was a bit tired, grumpy and sore – she weighs a ton now and spent most of the day in my arms. Mum and Dad came over this afternoon for a barbecue. It was lovely but Mum still doesn’t look well though. I hope she gets better soon.
It was a good evening as all the girls were fast asleep by 7.30pm. Managed to get some jobs done, get organised for School run tomorrow, watch X Factor and do some blogging.
