Its been a bit of a mixed week really. I have been increasingly grumpy because I want to meet my baby girl, the other two have been quite naughty and demanding but we are all settling into our new home and enjoying the garden. Then the sun came out and my Sister and her boys came to stay so it ended on a high!
Monday – A bit of a busy day catching up on jobs. We went shopping for a few new things we need for the house, put up some pictures, brought a lawn mower. This afternoon we went to the birth unit to have a look around. It was lovely except the girls were little monsters. They really have been playing up since Friday, we think its because they don’t know how long Husband is home for and that they know the baby is coming.
Tuesday – A day at home catching up on stuff. Cant really remember much about it but the girls played outside a lot and Nanny popped over for an hour or so too.
Wednesday – Husband mowed the lawn and cleaned the patio with his jet wash so it all looks lovely. then we had a little mini barbecue to celebrate. Mum popped over for a bit as she was working in the area, then I had an appointment with the Midwife that went well. She took some more blood just to check my bile acids, gave me some more advice on ringing the baby on. Tonight was Rosie’s first night without a nappy on and she stayed dry all night…yeehhh!!
Thursday – A bit of a day at home. Mum popped round for a bit and we put some more pictures up. We are planning a little gallery of Husbands black and white photos he has taken and developed himself. The girls played in the garden lots. Got my blood results back and although results higher they are still just about ok.
Friday – A pretty quiet day at home and in the garden. Put a few more pictures up and did a few things in the babys room. We are getting there slowly and it looks more like home. Gramps popped round breifly to pick up Poppy’s old bed. He needs it for William to stay in this weekend as my Sister and her boys are coming to stay. I thought things were starting to happen with the baby but no such luck. The girls and Daddy had great fun doing a snail hunt and race this evening:
Saturday – We popped into town this morning to pick up a few things and I managed to get my watch fixed too which was a bonus. The girls enjoyed being out and about and because of the Olympics there seemed to be lots on,. There were animals and a band in the town centre and they enjoyed lunch out. This afternoon my Sister and her two boys came round with Mum. It was lovely to all be out in the garden enjoying the sunshine:
Sunday – We enjoyed a lovely day out and barbecue at my parents. The children all had great fun and played really nicely together. My girls loved Williams train set which was set up on the decking and all the children loved Gramps new water slide! Getting desperate I bounced on the trampoline and almost gave my Dad and Husband a heart attack! It really was a lovely day:

July 28, 2012 at 3:38 pm (12 years ago)Fingers crossed she arrives soon as getting very fed up and grumpy. I am sure that’s why the girls are playing up, I just don’t have the energy or enthusiasm to play with them which is a bit sad but true. Loving the sunshine too as it means i can sit and watch them run around outside. Hope you’ve had a good week and will have to have a good catch up reading your blog xxxx
