It was the final week that Husband was away from us, so we are now back together as a family and ready to move on to the next chapter of our lives. New house, new job, new baby. It was not without its ups and downs but here goes….
Monday – Dad had to go to a family funeral so Mum came to keep the girls and I company just in case I went into labour. We ended up having a lovely day. The weather was good so the girls played in the garden and then Mum took us all out to lunch which was great fun.
Tuesday – The girls were very well behaved but it was one activity after the next….play dough, painting, drawing, toys, etc. I was exhausted. The bits they loved best though were making jelly and pasta bake for tea. This afternoon I took Poppy to another story time at her new School and Rosie and I went to play in the park with the other Mums and children. It was a lovely afternoon and Poppy loved it:
Wednesday – A day at home which was broken up when Nanny popped over before work this evening. She saw I was shattered so took over with the girls which was lovely and gave me a bit of a break.
Thursday – I had to attend a drop in clinic with the mid wife which went really well. she completed the paperwork for me to go to the Birth Unit, took loads of blood, blood pressure and listened to the heart beat. All is good. It was a lovely walk there too.
Just as we got back Mum popped in to check I was okay and not in labour. She didn’t stay long as this afternoon I took Poppy to the final session at her new School before the end of term.
Whilst Poppy was at School (for an hour this time) I nipped to Costa with a friend and her little boy. Rosie enjoyed a gingerbread man and babyccino, whilst I had an iced frappuccino and a muffin…. delicious and lovely company too.
Friday – The girls were total monsters today but luckily Husband was home this afternoon, that is it – now he doesn’t have to go back to Dartmouth again. I think the girls have been playing up because they miss him and I am just worn out. It hurts to bend over to pick over the constant mess and I am just fed up of being pregnant now. I want this baby out.
Saturday – We got lots of jobs done today and we also went exploring. We had fun at the local designer village outlet and the docks:
Sunday – We went for a lovely walk to Robinswood Hill Country Park – another attempt to get the baby out. We took my parents who I think they enjoyed it too:
All in all a pretty busy week and lots of photos.
