Okay, a bit late but better late than never. Last week was a very busy one for us in this house as we moved into the new house…..yeeehhh and then headed off to Butlins for the weekend!

Monday – I had been at my parents with the girls since yesterday and Husband came to join us tonight. Mum and I took the girls out in the  morning to get a few little bits I needed and we enjoyed a coffee and a cake out too – lovely. The girls played out in the garden during the afternoon and I got to chill.

Tuesday – Mum and Dad looked after the girls for us whilst we moved into the new house. Its lovely, all neutral carpets and walls, big bedrooms and a huge garden. The girls are going to love it. Mum and Dad looked after the girls whilst we unpacked,  put together beds etc and then Mum came over and helped this evening, its amazing how much we got done. Husband had to leave tonight to go back to Devon to hand over the other house tomorrow.

Wednesday – Brought the girls over today and we officially moved in. They love it!! They love sharing a room and their big girl beds, as well as the huge garden which they played in all afternoon and enjoyed a picnic in too. Husband came back this afternoon not impressed as he had been stood up by the housing guy. Not handing the house over for another two weeks now!! Not a happy man. More unpacking.

Thursday – The girls were very well behaved whilst we unpacked. They keep telling us that they like it here. We explored the local area a bit too.

Friday – Rosie’s Birthday. She is 2 and to celebrate we headed off to Butlins (full review coming soon as im a Butlins Mum Ambassador)! We stopped off at my Nana’s where she got to open more pressies, eat cake and have a fuss made of her before heading inside. We enjoyed pizza, pasta and ice cream for tea and familiarised ourselves with the entertainment on offer.

Saturday – Spent the morning swimming which both girls loved and later played in the Bob The Builder play Park, saw my Nana again, took in a few shows, played on rides, had faces painted and ate more cake! Both girls had a lovely day. That evening, Husband and I got to sample some of the entertainment child free whilst the parents babysat. It wasn’t a late night though as we were all shattered. A very lovely day though:

Sunday – Another full and busy day where we saw lots of shows, played in the ball park, both girls had their faces painted and we enjoyed a character lunch which was really special. The girls got to hug and kiss Angelina ballerina, (who delivered her Birthday cake), Fireman Sam and Billy & Bonnie Bear. They had a whale of a time.

All in all a lovely week.
