This week has gone by in a blur, a combination of more rain, more packing and some fun bits in between. Luckily the girls are all better so it has been a much happier week in this household.

Monday – Poppy went to School whilst Rosie and I played at home. The girls were thrilled that Daddy had left them a little treat for snack time after we picked poppy up – gingerbread Olympic people:

Tuesday – Poppy went to School this morning and then Rosie and I and joined her this afternoon for the toddler group. It was lovely to see the girls playing nicely together as usually Poppy runs off with her friends. Its was also nice for me to catch up with the other Mums.

Wednesday – Poppy was at school all day and I managed to get quite  a bit done. Rosie was really good colouring in and playing with play dough whilst I got on and did stuff. This afternoon I felt dreadful though and had to take it easy. I bounced up and down on my birthing ball and Rosie bounced up and down on me:

Thursday – Poppy had the day of School today as she is off on a School trip tomorrow. I wanted to do something nice with the girls but didn’t feel that good myself. Instead we had a lazy day. We did lots more colouring, playing with play dough and made a wibbly wobbly jelly. The girls had fun playing together and this afternoon Poppy and I cuddled up and watched Tangled.

Friday – Poppy skipped to School today as she was going on a School trip to the beach and a sea life centre. She had great fun but came home with a cut nose and mouth where she fell over and scraped her face on the curb…whoops.

Saturday – It was Poppy’s last ballet lesson today here but we have promised to make it a priority to find a class when we move to the new house. After ballet we went to visit Daddy at work. We watched a bit of the queens Birthday with him, ran around causing havoc, played in the play park there and then stayed for lunch. Luckily it was quiet and there weren’t many people around so no-one minded. This afternoon we made Daddy some Fathers Day chocolate truffles:

Sunday – The girls and I enjoyed a lovely lie in followed by breakfast in bed this morning before Daddy arrived home around 8.30ish. They were so excited to see him and couldn’t wait to give him their goodies. Then we all went swimming and enjoyed lunch out too. A brief look around the shops where Rosie finally flaked and we came home. I was shattered this evening so Husband and I enjoyed a lazy quiet evening in.

This week is going to be quite busy as the girls and I are leaving the house on Thursday evening. Husband is going to finish the house off and we take the new one over next Tuesday…busy, busy times.
