Its been a pretty busy week in this house. As well as enjoying the sunshine we have got lots done. We are seriously getting ready to move house and have a new baby. We have also taken lots and lots of photos.
Monday – To be honest I cant quite remember what we did today but it was lovely weather so I guess we played outside. Poppy was at School all day.
Tuesday – Poppy went to School this morning and then this afternoon had a birthday party. Unfortunately I had a bit of an accident with a wooden chair landing on my foot. It was very sore!
Wednesday – Poppy was at School today but Rosie and I had a lovely day at home. We played outside in the sun but I also got lots done . She even helped me wash down the table and chairs outside. The girls were really pleased to see each other when we picked up Poppy and later on we had a man come to assess how much stuff we have ready for the move…its feeling more real now. Oh and even more exciting Husband picked up the new car so we dont have to worry about breaking down again:
Thursday – Wasn’t the best day in the World. We played outside lots and although I couldn’t find the paddling pool we filled a big tub of water which seemed to do the job. However, both girls were quite whiny and I couldn’t wait to get them in bed. Husband was out in the evening but my day got better when my friend popped round to give me some pampering. she gave me a lovely manicure and pedicure as a treat which made me feel much better. It was wonderful:
Friday – Daddy had the day off today so we headed to the beach, it was such a lovely day and we all enjoyed spending time together as a family:
Saturday – Husband had to work today and I was stuck without the car. I couldn’t face walking up and down our hill with both girls so we spent the day at home and in the garden. First we gave it a good sort out and tidy up. Their trampoline had had it so I took it to pieces ready to go to the skip. Then we got the hose out and cleaned everywhere.
Poppy kept hosing her Sister and making her cry even when I asked her to leave her alone. In the end wicked Mummy sprayed Poppy to see if she liked it…she didn’t. Soon though, we had filled a tub of water and they had great fun with that instead.
Later on we did a bit of weeding and then planted our sunflowers which we have been growing on the kitchen window sill:
I think I may have overdone it though and had really bad back ache in the evening.
Sunday – It was my Grandmas birthday party today so we headed off out for the day. There was 18 of us in total and we all met for a lovely pub lunch. It was great to see the family as they are spread all over and don’t always get to meet up and although there was a few faces missing it was good to get together:
So a pretty good week for us. I cannot believe it is almost the end of May already, the weeks are speeding by.
