This week has actually been quite a good week for us all! Husband has a good week at work, Poppy a good week at School, I am now 3o weeks pregnant and still feeling  good and Rosie has just had lots of fun! It was all topped off with a pretty special day at the end of the week!

Monday – Poppy went to School all day so Rosie and I had a quiet one. Lots of playing involved though. I also managed to get lots done at home including washing and ironing baby clothes whilst Rosie napped. They are all so tiny, it made me feel much better:

Tuesday – Poppy went to school in the morning and then Rosie and I went down to join her for the toddler group this afternoon. We all had great fun. The girls actually played pretty well together and I got to catch up with the Mums and staff which I always enjoy:

Wednesday – Poppy went to School all day and had a lovely day. Rosie and I had a quiet one.  I was unimpressed to discover she had caught head lice after attending the playgroup yesterday. We treated her hair and got rid of them as well as informing the School. Poppy has so much anti lice stuff on her hair but i didn’t think to put it on Rosie 🙁

Thursday – Poppy didn’t go to School today as she is going on a trip to the beach tomorrow instead. I therefore took the girls to Torquay for a bit of shopping. We brought Rosie some new shoes as she has hidden one of hers and I cant find it anywhere! I was quite surprised to find that she is almost a size 6 now and an F width. I though she would be narrower than that!

We also brought lots of bits and pieces for my hospital bag, a sun hat for Poppy to take to the beach tomorrow and a pressie for Poppy’s friend as its her party next week.

I then took the girls to Marks and Spencers for lunch where they were well behaved before heading home. It was a lovely girly day!

Friday – Poppy went on her School trip to the beach today. We had to be prepared for all weathers so she had her waterproof coat, wellies, suntan lotion and a sun hat! She couldnt wait to get there and I think Rosie thought she was going too as she was just as excited:

She was also presented with a lovely Jubilee mug so was full of it when she got home.

Saturday – The morning started off as usual with a lovely lie in and breakfast in bed before getting Poppy ready for her ballet lesson. Poppy and I stopped at the shops on the way home too which was lovely and we got a few more bits for my hospital bag…I am getting organised! This afternoon however, I felt dreadful and had to go to bed for a few hours when Rosie did. Luckily Husband was around to take over!

Sunday – Was a lovely day. We went up to the Britannia Royal Naval College to see the Olympic Torch and have lunch. it really was  a lovely day topped off with the fact that Poppy got photographed holding the Olympic Torch:

All in all a very lovely week.
