Another week has flown by and its almost the end of April. Where is the time going? Husband  has been home for the past week on leave and has the next one off too which is lovely. Although we dont have a huge amount planned we are both just enjoying relaxing and enjoying time together with the girls as a family.

Monday – Husband got up and took Poppy to School this morning so Rosie and I had a lazy morning. In fact to be honest the whole day was quite relaxing, we did very little and just enjoyed him being home.

Unfortunately Poppy came home with head lice again, I spent three hours combing her hair and got rid of 30 little ones…she has no eggs though. We think someone she plays with must be crawling in them.

Tuesday – Poppy went to School with no lice and I spoke to the Teacher about it. She then came home with another 10! Its sooo frustrating. I spend hours cleaning/combing  her hair so they don’t get to nest and lay eggs and she comes back with more. Husband took Poppy out shopping this this afternoon so we have a house full of yummy food.

Wednesday – After hearing my new boots that I ordered were in ,Husband, Rosie and I went to Dartmouth for the morning whilst Poppy was at Preschool. It was a lovely morning and my boots are gorgeous. Rosie had great fun running around, splashing in puddles and even convinced Daddy to buy her this new hat she wanted.

Thursday – Poppy went to School in the morning and came back absolutely shattered. We were going to go out for the afternoon but she just wanted to stay home. We therefore had a Movie afternoon which was lovely for pregnant Mummy:

Friday – Daddy went away for the weekend as its his Cousins stag do. The girls and I went to run out usual music group but only 1 person turned up so we didn’t do it 🙁 I am hoping to find someone to take over from me as we will be leaving ourselves soon. The afternoon was a lovely one of fun and games. Rosie especially loved dressing up:

Saturday – This morning was Poppy’s ballet lesson which she really enjoyed. We were going to go to the park afterwards but it was really wet and miserable. Instead we popped into Sainsburys and I took them to the cafe for a babychinno and a shortbread finger. They were very well behaved and it was lovely.

Sunday – All was good first thing and I slept until 8am when I heard Rosie call out for me and then Poppy came in to wake me up. We decided to have breakfast in bed which was lovely.

Then they started asking when Daddy was coming home and really started to play up. They were little monsters for about 3 hours.

Both girls spent time on the naughty cushion but  finally settled down. The afternoon was a lazy one as the weather was so miserable. I wanted to take them swimming but was a bit worried about managing them both on my own.

Then Husband came back this evening which was lovely. He had enjoyed his weekend but missed us all more.

All in all a good week. Pretty uneventful but lovely to have Husband around.
