This year I am going to be joining in with the  very lovely Me And Mine Project. We take so many photos of the girls but still don’t take enough of all of us together. Something I want to change this year. Plus this year is a big year for us. A year of changes. It will be lovely to record how it goes and how we all get on.

Sadly January has not been great start to the year. In fact it hasn’t been much fun for us at all. It has been a month of uncertainty, of stress and of illness. We have tried our best to stay calm and happy but it hasn’t been easy. It looks like our new house is falling through and sickness bugs, croup and chest infections have affected the youngest two.

We have managed to have some family fun and days out though and are planning lots more this year. This was us all last weekend on a trip to Brighton:

Is not the best photo but we are all in it. It was the end of the day and we were all started to get a bit cold. It was pretty breezy down on the beach, very grey but lots of fun.

Here’s what we have been enjoying in January:

Mummy – looking at new things for our new home and planning what the new house will look like, taking lots of photos on my new camera and planning little family trips and holidays for the year.

Daddy – building his DIY film camera and then taking pictures on it, playing the piano and practising his sight reading (its getting better).

Poppy – reading her National Geographic Kids magazines, learning all about volcanoes and meeting the children’s Author Guy Bass.

Rosie – playing with all her playmobill (she has lots of the horsey stuff), lie ins at the weekends and reading Harry Potter.

Daisy – Learning to read, dressing up as Snow White and playing with her babies.

Not a completely horrible month but lets hope next month is better. We are waiting on news about our house move, Husband starts a new job and we are hoping to say goodbye to all the germs and bugs.
