Years ago and long before children, husband and I lived just around the corner from Richmond Park. We spent many happy weekends there looking at the deer, eating ice creams, just bumbling around or sunbathing. We went in all weathers and even used to run or cycle around it together. Happy days!!
These days we have 3 little girls who also enjoy it there. They are especially fascinated by the deer:
Last weekend we visited the Isabella plantation which is looking particularly beautiful right now. It was full of pink and purple flowers and the girls thought it was amazing. They spent a lovely afternoon exploring and playing together and didn’t want to come home. In fact they can’t wait to go back again with a picnic!
Sorry for the photo overload but it really was lovely:
Such a beautiful day. Have you been playing outdoors recently?
I should point out that the turtle Rosie is carrying is her class toy, visiting us for the weekend. I think he had lots of fun too.
