We love Bushy Park but haven’t been in ages. That changed this week though when we headed over for an outdoors family adventure. Going on a slightly grey day during the week was very different to our usual weekend trips. It wasn’t that busy and parking was a breeze. It really was refreshing.
Its rutting season at the moment so we were careful not to get too close to the deer. We did see plenty of them though and as usual were blown away away by how magnificent they are:
The girls were thrilled to have their wellies on and had great fun splashing in puddles and throwing big piles of leaves. They are loving the Autumn weather and can’t quite decide which season is their favourite. Personally I love summer but there is definitely something quite special about the colours and textures of Autumn.
Sorry for the overload of photos but I couldn’t pick just a few:
Another lovely morning spent enjoying the great outdoors.Β Linking in as always with the lovely Fiona over at Coombe Mill.

October 31, 2015 at 7:29 am (9 years ago)What gorgeous photos of your girls enjoying the autumn weather – can’t beat putting wellies on at this time of year and jumping in leaves. Looks like they were having a wonderful time. I’ve never been to Bushy Park although been near it quite a few times – it looks like it is well worth a visit π

October 31, 2015 at 10:26 am (9 years ago)What a beautiful day for you all, it’s great that you managed to make it there away from the usual weekend rush. The girls look like they’re having a fab time exploring Bushy Park splashing in all the muddy puddles and throwing the leaves around. You got some spectacular shots of the deer, our resident Rudolph’s rutting at the moment too so we’re having to stay out of the Deer Field on the feed run. Thanks for linking up with me on Country Kids.

October 31, 2015 at 8:17 pm (9 years ago)It really was fun. We stayed away from the large group of deer but there were a few hiding in the long grass. Husband has an amazing long lens which meant we weren’t nearly as close as we look x
