Snow – that magical white stuff that children go crazy for and makes the world seem a prettier place! Apparently my children are deprived because they haven’t seen it since 2012 – the year Daisy was born…..well until last weekend that was:
Last weekend we headed up towards Nottingham way to visit Husbands side of the family and yes you guessed it, they had snow. It might have only been the tail end of the snow left from Christmas, a bit icy and slowly melting but my girls didn’t care. To them it was truly magical, the stuff of dreams:
At first there were small tentative steps which soon gave way to hops and skips:
There was team work to build snowmen:
Snowball fights:
And of course snow angels:
There might have been a few slips and slides:
Even from the ducks who slid as they skated over for a bit of bread:
And the snowmen might have been teeny tiny ones:
But it was lots and lots of fun and we had 3 very happy little girls.
Have you been outside this week?

Loving life with little ones
January 31, 2015 at 8:47 am (10 years ago)We haven’t had any snow yet, the girls are really hoping for some though. Little 2 says as soon as she sees some she is going to run for a carrot nose and build a snowman.
