Some people may have noticed that since September and moving house I've been a bit quiet on my blog and on yours. So I decided you might want a little update.
Part of the reason is time. Boring but true. With three little ones aged 2-6 and three school runs a day, I have no time in the day to myself and I am just plain exhausted once they are all in bed and I'm organised for the next day.
The other reason has been that I haven't been at my best recently. Since my stressful summer I've lost my sparkle and have been finding everything so much harder and more tiring. I have found Daisy particularly demanding (she's so much naughtier than the other 2 ever were). That's a whole other post coming soon. It's hard to write when you're exhausted and not enjoying it all as much as usual.
Anyway to sort myself out, three weeks ago I joined a gym. A very nice one with a pool, jacuzzi and steam room as we'll as a lovely crèche for Daisy. For the first time in 6 years I am actually getting some regular time to myself without any children (just an hour at a time, a few times a week to start with) to do my own thing and I'm feeling better already. I know when I feel good, the rest of the family does too so I'm feeling positive that this will be a good step.
In the new year Rosie will be doing full days at school and I'm going to have loads of time to blog and read all my faveourite ones too so watch this space for updates. I'm pretty sure I'm on the up and I'll find that sparkle again soon.

December 23, 2014 at 8:17 pm (10 years ago)I am glad that you are finding some time for yourself as well as being a super mum, I have read that a few other bloggers are saying the same thing recently, perhaps it is the time of year or something in the air x
