My regular readers will know that life has been a bit stessful lately what with being in the last few weeks of my pregnancy and moving home. With a Preschooler and a toddler, keeping them amused whilst packing away most of their toys was hard but there was one toy in particular which kept them out of trouble and allowed me to get on with packing.
It was the Dear Zoo floor puzzle which arrived the week before the big move. Perfect timing!
Yes that’s right…Dear Zoo the famous book that you will all have read or brought for your little ones has now introduced a new range of toys including this puzzle, skittles and finger puppets.
Aimed at children aged 3-5 this puzzle comprises of 24 pieces which are a decent size (not to small or too big) and are still chunky enough for little hands. The puzzle itself is well made and will bring hours of fun.
Poppy was thrilled as soon as she saw the box as she always loved the story. She likes the fact that she knows all the animals and why they are not a suitable pet. Rosie loves to have a go too but as she has only just turned 2 she’s not that good at it yet. She loves pointing at all the different animals though and telling us what they are and what’s wrong with them so it’s still educational for her.
A delightful puzzle that will keep little ones amused time and time again. Would make an ideal present.
