Our #HomeLife – September 2016

This month we are away on holiday but I still want to join in with the homelife project anyway. I really do enjoy sharing a day in our lives with you all. Just to be a bit different though I have a section of iPhone, GoPro and Camera Photos this time round. We still have a day left of our two week holiday in Portugal so are all very relaxed, very brown and very happy.

Morning cuddles and giggles. Pretty much the norm in our house. Daisy didn’t want her photo taken though::

Once we were all up dressed and had eaten we headed straight out to the pool. Lots of people must have left last night/ this morning as the pool was full of left behind floats. The girls quickly threw their beloved crocodile to the side and jumped in happily playing with everyone else’s. Lots of fun:

This evening we took the free shuttle bus down to Old Town and enjoyed dinner out. It was Poppy’s turn to pick and she chose a build your own burger place. Being veggie I don’t usually enjoy places like this but building your own burger was fab. I had a veggie burger with pineapple and cheddar cheese, sweet chilli sauce and chips. A bit different but good nonetheless. It really was lovely eating out with the girls, something we don’t do nearly enough at home:

Once we had eaten we headed down to the beach for a little walk and to watch the sunset. When we got there we were thrilled to see the most amazing waves and went on to have a lot of fun in them. Poppy in particular thought it was fab watching Mummy and Daddy behaving like children and I don’t think we have giggled so much in ages:

Finally it was time to catch a cab back to the resort. It was pretty late by this time but the sun still hadn’t set! Everyone needed showers and hair washes to get rid of the small beach we managed to bring home with us. We kind of skipped stories then and they were asleep in  minutes. Personally I am so going to miss going back to having my bed made and room tidied most days:
