I really enjoyed joining in with the home life project last year so am looking forward to doing it again this year. Its run by Clare over at Maybush Studio and involves sharing one day from the first weekend of each month. This year she has introduced a new creative challenge but I completely missed that until too late so will have a look next month. Until then, here’s a little peek into our home life.
This weekend we were supposed to be having our first big family adventure and had planned to head to Brighton for the weekend but my Sister needed me so we changed our plans. After the bad weather last week her ceiling had started to fall in so my husband helped hers all weekend with pulling it down and putting up plaster boards, whilst us girls had all the children. It was chaotic but fun.
In all the chaos I almost forgot about taking photos but managed to get a few, mostly on our lovely trip out to Kew Gardens:
The best bit for me was seeing Daisy read to her big Sister Rosie. Daisy was so proud and Rosie was delighted with how well she did. It was very cute.
It wasn’t a typical weekend in our house, hard work for the boys and crazy for us girls but it was lovely to spend lots of time with my Sister.

January 12, 2017 at 3:15 pm (8 years ago)Love the one of your sister in her ear muffs and the creative challenge is totally optional. More than anything it just gives me an excuse to do a post to alert people on the Friday before. By the way that last photo with Shane really shows how big the girls are getting! :-O
