Wow another whole month has gone already. This year is seriously flying by. Thats why recording days like this are such a great idea, another way of looking back and remembering all we get up to as a family.
This weekend wasn’t your average weekend. It was the end of half term. We hadn’t managed to get away but had a lovely time and managed to end on a high with a day at the seaside. I had completely forgotten about taking photos on Saturday until it was too late so I had to get bit creative with my photos as we weren’t at home much at all on the Sunday.
The day started with big smiles and giggles as they realised it was the day we were going to the beach:
A bit of silliness thrown in for good measure:
Daddy randomly picked a beach and drove us to Worthing:
Just so we could all do this:

After a fun filled day playing in the sea we headed back. It was school the following day so I showered them all off and washed all their hair whilst Husband made us all some pasta….yummy! Daisy had been hoping to get out on her bike again this evening as she learnt to ride it with no stabilisers yesterday but there just wasn’t time.
Then it was a quick dinner, bath, teeth and bed. A bit of a back to front evening. The girls thought this was very funny:
They seem to have found and be wearing the smallest dressing gowns we possess! Think it might be time for some new ones!
Then Daisy and Rosie went straight to sleep:
Whilst Poppy had a silly five minutes before reading for a bit:
Husband then tried to put the new trampoline net and pads on which had arrived whilst we were out but he had accidentally brought the wrong ones. Whoops. Oh well back to the shop they go and we will order the right ones:
What a lovely day.

July 1, 2016 at 12:09 pm (9 years ago)Karen., so sorry it has taken me the ENTIRE month to get round to reading your post, but I’m sure you know what it’s like! 🙂 Looking back on June we had lovely weather for the weekend, warm enough for the beach where as this weekend is going to be a wash out I think… and Jim is away AGAIN…. sigh! As always it’s lovely to see your girls growing up and developing into distinct personalities! 🙂
