Holiday memories, we have so many of them but are super keen to make many more with these three cheeky monkey’s:
Husband and I have always been passionate about travel and prior to children shared some amazing holidays and experiences together. To mention just a few we have been on a live aboard diving holiday in the red sea, visited the dreamy Maldives three times and explored tiny Greek islands by moped. We have seen monkeys in Bali, been camel riding in Tunisia and stayed out overnight in the dessert. We even went skinny dipping in a deserted waterfall lagoon in the Malaysian rainforest.
We also spent two years living in Canada where we travelled regularly. We were very adventurous back then and took our first daughter on regular road trips from only six weeks old. Favourites included travelling across Canada to Vancouver island showing her grizzly bears, seals and whales and doing a fly drive down along the West coast of America, taking in California, San Diego and Las Vegas. Amazing memories we will never forget:
Since having children our holidays have changed slightly. We have stayed in gorgeous log cabins on Forest Holidays and beautiful cottages on Cornish farms. We have even been Glamping. Lots of happy magical memories a little different to previous ones but perfect anyway:
Last year we took our three girls to France twice where they enjoyed playing in the sea in May and then canoeing on the Dordogne in August. Magical family memories to treasure for ever. They now want to learn the language (well a bit more then “hello”, “goodbye” and “a large bread please”) and think of France as their special place:
This year we are hoping to make lots of new memories and travel further afield. We have thought about maybe going to Gozo or to Greece. A villa holiday would be perfect for this family, somewhere close to the sea. With so many new places to discover and explore together we don’t have our hearts set on just one place. Thankfully the girls are just as eager to travel the World as we are, as long as there is a pool, a beach and ice cream that is. Watch this space for lots more adventures and travels.
