Usually my fashion posts are all about the girls but todays is about me for a change. Worn out and frazzled is how I have been feeling lately but its definitely a look I am keen to get rid of. With the holidays fast approaching I am going to make sure I fully recharge my batteries over the next few weeks and then next year I have a plan to ensure I look better too.
I love shopping and always have done but with three little girls its easy to get carried away with their clothes and forget about me. After all girls dresses are so much cuter and they look fabulous in everything. However, next year I plan to make sure I treat myself to a little something each month. It might be a new top, a pair of jeans, even a haircut. It might even just be some new bubble bath to help me relax but I am going to ensure that I don’t neglect myself anymore.
I really am in need of a new image overhaul so heres a few things I would love:
First the jacket. Quilted jackets are perfect for this weather and I have one already that I live in. However, this one from House of Fraser is very special and looks absolutely gorgeous. It would give me a completely different look. Obviously it is way out of my budget but this is a Wishlist and not an actual shopping list so its staying.
Of course I would need some lovely new jeans to go with such a beautiful coat. I’m a fan of skinny jeans and jeggings are so comfy to pull on for the school run so some like these also from House of Fraser would be perfect.
I love colour and patterns and find they can really make a difference to my mood. This top from Joules is very pretty yet totally practical too. It’s very me.
Of course I will need some new black boots too. Walking to school and back and literally running after Daisy means they need to be sensible and comfortable but I like them to be stylish too. I would love some ankle ones but am not sure as its been a while since I have worn them so stuck to good old knee length ones for this post. After all boots like these ones from Dune go with everything.
I’m looking forward to January already now. What do you think I should buy first?
