My Dad is fab.

Not only is he a great a Dad – the best Dad.

He is the best Gramps my girls could ever ask for. They idolise him (I need a better picture of them all together though):

He gets down on the floor to play with them, spins them around and gives them piggy backs:

or he will even climb up a huge climbing frame to help encourage their confidence:

He is gentle, patient and splits his time between all of them. Listening to Poppy read, Rosie chat about Preschool and Daisy (well all of them really) climb all over him. He's always ready with stories and games. He is an absolute star!

If the girls are poorly and Husband is away, he's the first to offer to come and help me.

He will also be the first to tell me I need a rest/ I'm looking a bit haggard (haven't forgotten that one Dad), sending me out for a little break or time out to refresh.

Recently I've begun to wonder when children start to appreciate their parents and I really think it might be when they become parents themselves.

So I'm sorry Dad …..

….Sorry if you ever felt under appreciated or taken for granted.

We all love you, appreciate you and think you're the best!

Thank you for everything you do for us and a very Happy Fathers day to you.

Love Karen x
