I can't really believe it but Rosie has turned four. I know I am always saying it but they grow up so quickly it's amazing. No longer a shy little girl, she is turning into a much more confident, big one and is now ready to start school in Sptember.
She loves shopping and clothes, always wanting to pick her outfits and usually doing pretty well with coordinating them. She lives in dresses and skirts, opting to put leggings under them when it's cooler. If she had her way she would be in a tutu or party dress every day of the week. We often wonder what she might be when she's older and a fashion designer has been mentioned. Her favourite colour is purple but she also likes red and pink too.
Always on the move, running and jumping, dancing, hopping and skipping or playing on her bike and skooter. Lately I have noticed she's been complaing of being tired more and of having sore legs but then she does walk to school and back 4x a day as well as all of this, so it's not surprising.
She's a bit quiet when you first meet her but vey quickly gets used to you and opens up. When you first meet her you might think she's a bit quiet and shy but will soon realise she's very loud and very giggly. She especially loves cuddles and would literally sit and cuddle for hours.
Rosie loves playing with small world toys, her dolls house and imaginary games like shops. She was brought an ice cream set for her birthday and will sit for hours playing ice cream stalls. She is very good at playing quietly by herself but also loves playing with her Sisters. She also likes crafty stuff and messy play and will happily play for ages doing this sort of thing.
She speaks very well and enjoys learning new things. She has recently enjoyed learning about different Countries and cultures (Egypt, Poland and now Iceland) at Preschool. She can write her name and Poppys as well as a few other words with help but this is all quite new. She loves books and will happily snuggle up for story after story. She often likes to “read to us” telling the story from memory and fills in the missing words when we read to her. She can't wait to learn to read and write properly.
A very sweet little girl, she is pretty well behaved really. We haven't had any trouble with tantrums, she eats and sleeps well and Is generally very good. Yes she argues with her sisters but that's normal isn't it?
My gorgeous four year old, where has the time gone?
Here's just a few whoops I meant an overload of photos from the past three years:
Wow, she's so grown up now. I love this little monkey and am looking forward to see what comes next.
Happy Birthday To My Big Girl.
