I love the idea of being crafty and making meaningful gifts for friends and family. Some of the best presents I’ve ever received were homemade and I loved them.

The one thing I’ve got pretty good at making this year is little hair bows. My girls wear them every day now but this year for Christmas i’ve made loads of them for all the little girls we know. Here’s a few:

 

 

I’ve been wrapping them up all pretty in cellophane and ribbon and think they look pretty good if I do say so myself.

 

 

I am loving big, bright, bold colours and patterns. I’ve made big loopy bows, flat ones, double ones and simple ones but the best bows are the tiny ones. They seem to be a favourite with everyone from babies to teens.

It’s so relaxing making them and very satisfying when people comment. I’ve still lots to learn and there’s plenty of room for improvement but I’m definitely getting better.

In fact if I keep going like this I might have to open a shop haha.
