I had a little friend
His name was tiny Tim
I put him in the bath tub
To see if he could swim
He drank up all the water
And ate up all the soap
And now he's lying on the bed
With a bubble in his throat
Bubble, bubble, bubble, POP!
(Mummy claps her hands together causing bubbles to fly all over them to squeals of delight).
This is the girls faveourite song to sing in the bath. You see with three little girls aged 1-5 Years, Bathtime is Funtime and it's definitely not quiet time!
Big, bubbly baths are a huge part of our bedtime routine. It's a time for singing, giggling, chatting, making music and pulling funny bubble faces. Then once clean and relaxed they quieten down for story time before bed. A lovely end to their busy days.
We were really excited to see that Tots100 and their sponsers H&A were looking to recruit Bathtime Ambassadors. It would be the perfect job for this family. We showed an interest and were sent some lovely new bubble bath to try.
It didn't take much to impress the girls, afterall it had an attractive bright bottle, a cute picture of Disney's Nemo on the front and a very light scent. However, Mummy wanted to give it a thorough testing before passing judgement. We've been testing it for two weeks now and are really impressed.
Paediatric approved, hypoallergenic and tear free, it is gentle enough to use on newborns. All of three of these girls suffer from dry skin and eczema so I am very cautious when trying anything new. I'm pleased to share though that it really is gentle…no dry patches or breakouts here!
The big bubble test
We like baths that make lots of bubbles. We added a little bit the first time as the bottle suggested but there wasn't quite enough of them. Next time round though we added a bit more together with lots of splashes and then there were millions!!! It might not last as long as it should do but we get through a lot of bubble bath in this house anyway.
The girls love their new bubble bath and give it a huge 10/10. In fact we can't wait to try out more of their products now, especially as we've seen the Minnie Mouse, Doc McStuffins and Disney Princess ranges.
Thank you H&A and fingers crossed for us. We would love to be part of their Bathtime Fun Squad.
