Goslings and Ice Creams- A Perfect Day

Last weekend we enjoyed a lovely family day out. We were going to try somewhere new but the girls wanted to go to our favourite Osterley House, Surrey so who were we to argue?

It turned out to be a fantastic idea. The sun was shinning and all the new baby ducks, swans and geese were out. It was so sweet. Daisy especially was memorised and we stayed to watch them for ages:

The weather was gorgeous so perfect for summer dresses. Daisy only wants to wear dresses she can dance in these days so chose this one herself. I wasn’t sure it would still fit but without a nappy underneath it almost seemed longer than last year. A bit overdressed maybe but she was oblivious:

The girls were loving all the pretty flowers and the wildmeadow was already starting to look lovely with pretty bluebells popping up everywhere. We can’t wait for it to look at its best, I can see some amazing photos coming on:

Oh and of course on such a lovely day ice creams were definitely required:

A beautiful day out in our favourite place. What more could you wish for?

It looks like you had a wonderful day out, it’s great when the kids actually want to go somewhere, you definitely can’t say no. That wildflower meadow looks beautiful, in a couple of weeks time I’m sure it will be overflowing with colour. It certainly looks like that ice cream was needed to finish off the day perfectly.
