“Whose made all this mess”?
My youngest two still love Peppa Pig so I was more than happy to review the Peppa Pig Deluxe Muddy Puddles House with them. Aimed at 18+ Months I was particularly interested in how my 23 month old would get on with it:
However, as a parent, I must admit I have mixed feelings about this toy.
I really like the way it has been been designed to fit together so everything stores inside, always a hit with me as I hate lost pieces:
I love the way a lot of the furniture is drawn on the walls, such a simple but clever idea! It means less pieces to lose:
The pieces that are included (a bath, bunk beds, sofa, chair, TV, dinning table with 4 chairs as well as a George and Peppa pig) are all nice and chunky, perfect for chubby little hands like Daisy's:
Its the sort of toy that definitely sparks the imaginations of children – my older ones have great fun creating stories where they make an imaginary mess and try to clean it all up again, even little Daisy will lie on her tummy for ages chatting about “dirty”, “mess” and “clean”:
The girls (aged almost 2,4 & 6) have all had great fun playing with it alongside our other Pepa Pig toys and absolutely adore this toy however, I personally believe the word deluxe is a bit of a stretch and makes it sound much more glamourous than it really is.
The actual house is made of the hardest plastic that could snap easily so I wonder how long it will really last with my almost 2 year old picking it up and moving it around. I also think that for a RRP of £29.99 it could have included a Mummy and a Daddy pig. After all, Peppa and George would never be left home alone (at the very least Miss Rabbit would have been babysitting):
There's no doubt little ones will have great fun with this muddy puddles house however, I would definitely keep an eye out for it on special offer.

I did revieve this playset in return for this review but all words and opinions are my own.
